La Cumbiambita is a children’s Colombian Folk Dance Group. It began in 2005 with the purpose of teaching the younger Colombian generation about their cultural roots, but has also welcomed children from other cultures like Chile and El Salvador. The Group has participated in different festivals in Melbourne such as the Johnstone St Latin Fiesta, HUME and Brimbank Council Community festivals,the Geelong and Ethnic Communities Pakofesta annual event and other community events
