Te Hononga o Nga Iwi
We are "The Hononga o nga Iwi" or "The Coming Together of the [Maori]" Tribes [of New Zealand].
From a humble lounge room with a few friends and family, to booking performing arts rehearsal rooms with a group of 50+ (and still counting), we have grown as a Non-profit Maori Culture Performing Arts Group (Kapahaka Group) purely because of the love and passion we have for our culture.
We have been together since October 2008 and have performed in events ranging from Birthdays, Weddings, Festivals and Fundraisers.
